Why we need you

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accountant to manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with the relevant accounting standards. This role will also encompass transfer pricing responsibilities and legal entity optimization, ensuring compliance with international tax regulations and efficient corporate structuring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

What you’ll bring

  • Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.

  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies.

  • Oversee transfer pricing documentation and compliance, ensuring intercompany transactions align with tax regulations.

  • Support legal entity optimization by analyzing entity structures for tax efficiency and compliance.

  • Collaborate with tax advisors and finance teams to optimize entity operations and reduce tax exposure.

  • Work with external and internal auditors to support audits and financial reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with tax and statutory regulations,

  • Assist in process improvements, automation, and implementation of financial systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Your first-year achievements

  • Perform all account reconciliations for 2024 and prepare for the 2024 audit;

  • Finalise the 2024 audit by Q3’24 for all Lepaya entities;

  • Implement transfer pricing across the group, taking into account the latest legal entity structures

  • Implement standardised processes across the group regarding month end closure
