What are we building?

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong applied AI mindset and solid data analysis skills to help us build, deploy, and improve intelligent systems in production.
This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering and data science. You’ll work with real-world data, build and integrate ML/AI models into our products, analyse outcomes, and continuously improve performance based on data and feedback.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, backend engineers, and data stakeholders to turn data and models into reliable, scalable features.

What will you do?

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning / AI solutions for production use
  

• Work with structured and unstructured data to extract insights and build features
  

• Analyse model performance, experiment results, and business metrics
  

• Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting training, inference, and analytics
  

• Integrate AI models into backend systems and APIs
  

• Iterate on models using feedback loops, monitoring, and evaluation metrics
  

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define AI-driven features
  

• Contribute to technical decisions around tools, architecture, and best practices

Who are we looking for?

Required

• Strong experience with Python
  

• Experience building and deploying ML / AI models in production
  

• Solid understanding of data analysis, statistics, and experimentation
  

• Hands-on experience with common ML libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
  

• Comfort working with SQL and data warehouses or analytical databases
  

• Experience integrating models into APIs or backend services
  

• Ability to reason about trade-offs between accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost
  

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or GenAI workflows
  

• Familiarity with MLOps practices (model versioning, monitoring, retraining)
  

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  

• Knowledge of data visualisation or reporting tools
  

• Background in software engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD)
  

What this role is not

• Pure research or academic ML
  

• Pure data analysis / BI
  

• Dashboard-only analytics
  

• Model training without ownership of production impact
