About the job

As Cloud Security Engineer at Deftpower, you make sure our platform stays safe, compliant and trusted as we scale fast across Europe. You design secure cloud architectures, automate compliance and make sure security is part of every build from infrastructure to code.

You’ll work closely with Timo, your Team Lead, who currently acts as both Security Officer and CISO. Over time, we’d love to see you grow into these responsibilities and take the lead on security across the company.

You’ll be the first in this role, setting the foundation for how we grow securely. You’ll balance protection with progress, working side by side with engineers, operations and leadership because at Deftpower, security moves just as fast as innovation.

• Design and maintain secure Azure cloud architectures that protect data and access

• Automate compliance controls and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting

• Act as Security Officer, translating compliance frameworks into practical solutions

• Collaborate with developers to promote secure coding and infrastructure practices

• Spot risks early, think in scenarios and turn insights into action
