The Role

Are you a financial pro who loves a mix of strategy and hands-on impact? As Controller, you’ll be the key finance partner across Roamler, business partnering with stakeholders from Sales and Operations to IT. You’ll work closely with the Manager Finance & Control and CFO, diving into the FP&A cycle and financial reporting while ensuring we make smart, data-driven decisions.

You’ll own financial planning, reporting, and compliance—while also helping shape strategy. From dashboards that give real-time business insights to modeling future scenarios, your work will influence major decisions.

Your Responsibilities

• Setting up and executing the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) cycle
• Leading the annual audit process and working with external auditors
• Building data-driven insights to steer revenue, margin, and cost strategies
• Collaborating with department heads to track and optimize budgets
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
• Creating business cases for investments & scenario planning
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business control
• Strong analytical skills & ability to turn numbers into actionable insights
• Experience with PowerBI, PowerQuery, and advanced Excel skills
• A proactive mindset—someone who takes ownership and challenges the norm
• Strong communication skills—you can explain complex financials to non-financial teams
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) and based in the Netherlands
